Sadly this is the first year there is no BulletFest due to lack of a good safe location.

Also, check this out. we've setup a newer better Forum as part of a server move/site upgrade. Unfortunately due to technical reasons we couldn't salvage the old one or anything in it. :(

Bulletfest is held rain or shine. CampyBob will have Range Officers (ROs) helping to keep things safe. The firing line will go hot at approximately 9:30 AM. After breaking for an hour lunch, the line will once again go hot. Cease fires will occasionally be called so that targets may be refreshed and fires extinguished. CampyBob and friends will be providing a multitude of targets and shooters are encouraged to bring along junk to shoot (subject to approval). The final cease fire is called at 6:00 PM. Shooters are to collect their spent brass and trash when they have finished shooting for the day.

Food will be sold on site, including breakfast, lunch and dinner. Snacks and pop will also be available throughout the day. Participants are welcome to bring their own cooler. (no alcohol)

The following items are recommended: sunscreen, sun shade/instant-up canopies, coolers, water/pop/juice, a plastic tarp for your firing position (ground tarp for ease of cleanup), rifle racks, ready line tables... all the usual tools and supplies for a day of fun.

Safety Rules

No cross firing. Do not fire anywhere but straight ahead of you to avoid ricochets.

Ear protection is required and eye protection is recommended. Ear plugs & muffs will be sold.

All firearms not in use, including cease fires, will be unloaded with actions locked open and will have an Open Bolt Indicator in the chamber. You can either buy an OBI, or make your own.

Absolutely no drugs or alcohol of any kind allowed on or near the firing line.

Absolutely no firearm handling while people are downrange.

While on the firing line, all muzzles will be kept pointed down range. No muzzle waving.

Tracers and incendiary ammunition is allowed based on the decision of the range master on the days of the event. But, bring your AP rounds!

Machine gunners, always remove belts and open actions and double-check your chambers. An accidental cook-off is not a pretty thing to behold.

Firearms & Ammo

Due to safety concerns, Open Bolt Indicators (or OBI) are required to be in place during any cease fire, anytime a weapon is not being used and when guns are behind the firing line.

There will be an area to set up your tables and buy/sell firearms and firearm related items (legal purchases only). Vendor fees are $10/day.

Ammunition vendors will be on site but shooters are advised to bring plenty of ammo in the event that this changes.

Camping

Camping starts Thursday evening and will continue thru the big Saturday night party. Camp-grounds are usually very close to the firing line, but will ultimately be determined by the location.
